FRIDAY
1:00 CHECK IN TIME- Hurry and set up that camping gear! We have a spectacular weekend planned with tons of fun
for all!!! Don't forget to pick up your BBQ tickets and Halloween balloons for TRICK OR TREATING. Only sites
displaying an Halloween balloon will be visited for treats.
7:30 ADULT NIGHT - in the Day Room. Wine and cheese, crackers and snacks are on the house. Guaranteed to be a
fantastic event for all! Arrange for your baby sitters now. Ages 21+ invited. Entertainment provided by Harry French.
10:00 QUIET TIME - Please respect your neighbors! Some of us have small children, and we need our sleep! We
like to see happy, smiling campers in the morning. Keep all T.V.'s, radios and voices down to a minimum PLEASE!
Also, all campfires must be PUT OUT WITH WATER by midnight. Camp patrols will be driving around to make sure
these rules are enforced!
SATURDAY
9:00 -1:00 CRAFT FAIR/FLEA MARKET in the Day Room. A great selection of both new and used items. It's
not too early to start shopping for the holidays! If you are interested in table space, please sign up on the office
bulletin board. Doors open for participants at 7:30 for setup.
9:30 FLAG RAISING WITH THE BEARS at the Day Room (DR) Photo Op.
10:00 ADULT/TEEN SOFTBALL GAME- at the Ball Field.
10:00 COLORTIME or TIE DYE in the TENT behind the Day Room. Color a Tote ($7.00), Knapsack ($7),
or T-shirt Adults L-XXL $12). Permanent crayons make these a great take home souvenir OR TIE DYE a shirt.
$10.00 includes a t-shirt. $5.00 if you bring your own "T". Purchase a souvenir Jellystone shirt ($15.00) and create
a wearable masterpiece.
12:00 YOGI BEAR, CINDY BEAR & BOO BOO CERAMICS in the tent behind the Day Room. $5.00 for an
ornament or $10.00 for a character bank.
1:30 PUMPKIN DECORATING CONTEST- Bring your already decorated pumpkins to the Day Room for
judging. Contest will be divided into 4 categories-- 0-4 years; 5-9 years; 10-14 years; and, 15+ years. Prizes will be
awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category. PARENTS, PLEASE LET YOUR CHILDREN DO
THE DECORATING!! JUDGING IS BY AGE GROUPS FOR ORIGINALITY!!!
2:30 BINGO in the Day Room. This is your final chance to hit the "BIG ONE". $3.50 for 7 games. WINNERS
TAKE ALL!!
4:30 - 5:30 SITE TO SITE TRICK OR TREATING Only sites displaying a Halloween balloon can be visited for
treats or you risk being given a TRICK instead! Don't worry-- most sites have balloons in clear sight. ENJOY!!
6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 HAUNTED HOUSE IS OPEN - IF YOU DARE - Ticket price is $5.00 adults and $3.00 for
children purchased in advance at the Day Room throughout the day. A special ride will leave from the Day
Room and you will be transported to the Haunted House site. Tickets will be sold for the 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30
"HAUNTINGS"!
10:00 QUIET TIME once again!!! Remember to put those campfires out with water by midnight.
SUNDAY
9:30 FLAG RAISING WITH THE BEARS at the Day Room (DR) Photo Op.
10:00 KID'S (and Adult's) KRAFTS in the Day Room. $2.00 per craft. Great take home Halloween souvenirs!!
10:00 ADULT/TEEN SOFTBALL GAME- in the Ball Field.
11:00 WAGON or FIRETRUCK RIDE leaves from the "YOGI STOP" on second beach.
1:00 FISHING DERBY at the pond behind 2nd beach. We'll supply the worms, you supply the "know how".
Labor Day Weekend 2007's winner caught a 28" large mouth bass, and that's no fish story!! WOW!!
2:00 HORSESHOE TOURNAMENT- at the pits near the Ball Field. $5.00 entrance fee. Winners take all. Teams will
be selected at random at the tournament
4:00 FAREWELL COCKTAIL PARTY WITH OUR FAMOUS CRANBERRY PUNCH-in the Day Room. Join us
as we bid adieu to this fabulous 2009 camping season. Snacks, punch (and lemonade for the less adventurous) will be
on hand for all to enjoy.
5:30 CRANBERRY HARVEST BBQ- Hopefully, your tickets are purchased and you can sit down to enjoy a delicious
dinner with family and friends in the Day Room. See the check in information above for menu, prices, and ticket
purchase deadline.
7:30 A SPECTACULAR LIVE BAND "MID LIFE CRISIS"- in the Day Room. (They were here for our
SPECTACULAR Mardi Gras Festival) REMINDER- ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
AT ALL TIMES SO EVERYONE CAN HAVE A GOOD TIME!!!
Personal Note: Once again I would like to THANK all the spectacular people who helped to make this a
spectacular 2009 summer!! You are all my "summer family" and I will miss you all throughout our
looooong winter months. A great BIG thank you to my superb activities staff. You all do an awesome job!!
Please keep in touch with suggestions and yes, your funny, crazy emails. (I even appreciate those!!) I hope
everyone has a happy Holiday Season and a healthy Jan., Feb., March and April of 2010!! Keep me posted of
family news (you just might see it on our website). I hope to see you all in the SPRING of 2010!!! (Only 196
days til May 1st!!)
