2:00 TIME TO DECORATE YOUR "MARDI GRAS "FLOATS" FOR OUR PARADE. We will be decorating the fire truck and wagon at this time too
below the Day Room. Feel free to join us and use some of our supplies. Wagons, golf carts and strollers, are all considered "floats" and will be
judged in our Best Decorated Float Contest. We will be handing out numbers at the ball field (6:30) if you would like to enter this contest. LET'S
BE CREATIVE! THIS SHOULD BE LOTS OF FUN!
4:30 CHECK IN BEGINS FOR OUR MARDI GRAS FEAST in the Day Room. In order for this to work out as planned, please be generous with your
donations. Serving begins at 5:00.
6:30 MEET AT THE BALL FIELD FOR OUR SIXTH ANNUAL MARDI GRAS PARADE. Everyone should have their "floats" and parade attire ready
by now. Meet us at the ball field and float numbers will be given at that time for anyone wishing to be in the contest! Don't forget your masks!
Spectators can line the parade route. We will march from the ball field to the office then end at the Day Room where ballots can be turned in.
Winners will be announced at the dance. In order for this to be a safe, fun-filled event for all, we need your help and cooperation: All children must
be supervised by an adult at all times and golf carts must be driven by an adult. Judges will be picking the winners for the floats at this time. If
you are entered into this contest, please make sure your "float number" is displayed in clear view so the spectators can see it on the parade route.
Prizes will be announced at the Mardi Gras Ball.
8:00 A SPECTACULAR 6 PIECE BAND "JohnnyB & The Stingers" WILL BE ENTERTAINING US AT OUR SIXTH ANNUAL MARDI GRAS BALL on the
beach!! They'll also have lots of trivia questions, giveaways and other fun stuff for the crowd. This is one event you won't want to miss. JOIN
US!! DON"T FORGET YOUR MASKS!
Once again, for the safety and enjoyment of all, children must be supervised by an adult at ALL times on the beach.
